Phill Mallery in Hospital

I have now had my transplant and I was allowed home last Wednesday, after just over two weeks in hospital. This was great as they originally told me it could be up to six weeks! I have been allowed home into the care of Jeanette. I am still feeling the effects of the high dose chemo and I am still very vulnerable to any infections and viruses, so I have been told to avoid crowds of people and to limit visitors at home for now.

Thank you to everyone who sent me good wishes, they were really appreciated during my stay in isolation. I am able to talk to people by phone or contact via email or text. My number is 01304 821631, mobile no is 07939 071193.

I am looking forward to being allowed out on parole soon, and then you can all admire my shiny bald head! See you all soon,

Glad that you are back home and in the comfort and familiar surroundings that will of course make life easier for you.

With all the support, especially that from our French Padre's guv'nor, we should see you back racing by the end of the season !
